How to play
- Select three cards. Select one again to remove it.
- Add their values and check their suits. All three suits must be different.
- Press Check trio. Find every distinct valid combination; cards stay on the board and may be reused.
A worked example
4♣ + 7♦ + 10♥ = 21, with three different suits: a valid trio. 4♣ + 7♣ + 10♥ is not valid because two cards share a suit. J♠ + 2♦ + 8♥ = 21 is valid: a Jack is 11 in this puzzle.
This is a sum-and-suit puzzle with rules, text and interface made for UsefulSet. It uses ordinary playing-card symbols and is not affiliated with SET. These rank values differ from blackjack and cribbage. There is no wagering, account or prize.
A small daily habit
Daily boards have three to six trios and change at midnight UTC. Progress, hints and misses are saved for the latest 30 daily boards in this browser. A fresh board is unlimited practice and is not saved. Hints select one unfound trio but do not award it automatically.
Hints and misses are recorded, not penalized with a timer. Clearing browser storage removes progress. The daily puzzle is deterministic; it is for fun, not a secure contest.
